One of the Park’s classics: this is a walk that gives plenty of opportunities to observe animals, many species of flora, and fascinating geological features such as dinosaur tracks or fossilised corals.
all this amidst an ever - changing landscape that can be quite demanding on the knees when descending. Some parts of the route require concentration and a sure foot, especially where children are concerned.

Explanations are mainly given in German. Private guided walks can be booked also in English.
Equipment: weatherproof clothing, sturdy walking
shoes with good, firm-gripping soles.
Difficulty: white-red-white / medium
For the long and sometimes steep descent to Praspöl, hiking sticks can be helpful. Surefootedness is required. On the saddle it is usually windy.
