Ornithological excursion: Birds of the rocky steppe
This habitat is desired by various warblers, ammers, branch-singers and in building and garden-proximity also by garden and house-red-tail.
Cuckoos, thrushes and possibly even hoopoe or bee-eaters can be seen on bushes and trees. Falcons or larger birds of prey often glide in the thermals of the sunny limestone slopes and in the vertical rock walls. The descent is a bit steep in some places and requires some sure-footedness and solid footwear. This excursion only takes place in dry conditions.
At the end you will have a Coffee and Croissant. The duration of the excursion is calculated including the breakfast.
The excursion is conducted in German and French
Registration required. The number of participants is limited.
