Make an active contribution to the valuable natural and cultural landscape in Valais! Get actively involved in preserving and enhancing natural habitats in the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park!
In mid-March - before the birds start breeding - we are looking for volunteers to maintain a variety of hedges. Hedges are important structural elements. They contribute significantly to the preservation of biodiversity, to an attractive landscape and they protect the soil from erosion. On March 8th we would like your help to carry out professional, ecological hedge care. After an introduction to the basics of hedge care and valuable plant species, we will lend a hand ourselves. Help preserve the valuable habitat of many birds and insects!
After a theoretical introduction to the topic (pruning, plants, ecology), we will spend the day doing basic hedge care. Of course, there will be smaller breaks. Please bring your own food and remember to drink enough
Equipment and food:
We recommend: Work clothing appropriate to the weather, good footwear, gloves if available, hat or cap, sun protection, 1 mosquito repellent / anti-tick spray per group, drinks (½ day = min. ½ liter, 1 whole day = min. 1 liter of water or Tea).

The registration deadline is March 5, 2025 at 4.00 pm. Please note that the registration confirmation may have arrived in the spam folder of your e-mail address. You are responsible for the insurance yourself
