9.15 Uhr Wandertreff beim Bahnhof Zernez, 9.30 Uhr Plazza gronda in Lavin (vor Htl. Piz Linard).

The excursion begins at the alp Zeznina climbs up to Macun and returns to Lavin. Particularities: Macun lakes (23 lakes), crystalline soil flora, pygmy buttercup (only occurrence in Switzerland), rock glacier.

Since 1st August 2000 the Macun lakes and their surroundings, which belong to the municipality of Lavin, are part of the Swiss National Park. 23 lakes, crystalline bedrock, rare plant species and a fantasy world of

dragons and dwarfs all contribute to Macun’s renown as one of the pearls of the National Park.

  • August: 07.08, 14.08, 21.08, 28.08
  • September: 04.09, 11.09, 18.09, 25.09
  • October: 02.10, 09.10, 16.10

NOTE COVID-19:
As it is not possible to keep a sufficient distance in the taxi shuttle, participants should bring and wear their own protective masks for their own safety.

The taxi ride is included in the price: Drive to Alp Zeznina and back from Alp Zeznina after the hike. It is also possible to walk from Alp Zeznina to Lavin after the excursion (1,5 h).
Equipment: weatherproof clothing, sturdy walking shoes with good, firm-gripping soles.
