The nightingale is a very shy reddish-brown coloured bird species that can only be observed with a little luck and a good deal of patience.
But all the more conspicuous is its very diversified and loud song, with which in spite of its name it also defends its territory during the day or in the middle of the night tries to attract a partner. The nightingale returns from Africa around the middle of April, plays around and sings in the bushes, preferably close to water in the Valais, but also often in a row of bushes on a sunny hillside.
The excursion is conducted in German and French.
Registration required. The number of participants is limited.
